Another exciting year at IFAI EXPO 2016!

And another year at the IFAI EXPO is under our belt! We kicked off our biggest show of the year last week with a bang, bringing in a new booth and nine team members for the 2016 show in Charlotte, NC. There is no doubt that getting together with all of our industry family is one of our favorite things – and it's the one thing that hasn’t changed since we started exhibiting at IFAI EXPO many years ago.

This year at the show, we debuted a new hanging sign, a new booth design, and some bright blue carpet. In addition, three members of our growing team got to experience the show for the first time. Some of the things that we showed off in our booth this year:

MultiCam® Printed Narrow Fabrics

We have been talking about this stuff all summer long because we are that excited about. We have six different variations of this line – all in MultiCam®. This line highlights our commitment to the military industry as it features the MMI-created patent-patent pending CTEdge™. In addition, we can print patterns and logos on narrow fabrics of practically all kinds.

Coated Aramid Thread

This thread is really strong – no joke. It is comparable to the strength of a bolt. Our thread is recommended for use where exposure to moisture, abrasion, environmental contaminants or cut-hazard would be likely to cause failure in traditional threads of equal size.  Some of its features are:

·         Non-Absorbent

·         100% wet strength after 6 months’ immersion in sea water

·         High break strength (80 lbs in size 138)

·         High abrasion resistance

·         High UV resistance (approx. 30% strength loss after two years’ exposure)

·         High resistance to solvents, bleach and hydrocarbons

Fabric, lots of it! 

Shocker, right? Well, we highlighted a few of our favorite this year – but we have so many options. I’ll save you from reading the entire list but whether it is 200D polyester, 1050D ballistic nylon, or a custom ripstop to foam lamination – we have you covered. Our robust line up of woven fabrics coupled with our ability to also provide webbing, hook and loop, labels, zipper, knits, elastic, cord, and tape makes us a cut above the rest.
